in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin that was built in the 1870s.
The kit includes a Brewery Bottling Plant, Brewery Malt House,
Malt House Tower, Malt House Cooling Tower Annex and
Malt House Smokestack. The four structures can be positioned in
any arrangement to fit your available space.

The complex is patterned after an actual brewery
in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin that was built in the 1870s.
This complex looks great on steam or diesel era layouts
and will provide plenty of switching chores for crews on your railroad.

The kit includes four structures plus a large Brick Smokestack:
- Brewery Bottling Plant - 397 x 199 x 189 mm / 15.6 x 7.8 x 7.4 in
- Brewery Malt House - 207 x 109 x 195 mm / 8.2 x 4.3 x 7.7 in
- Malt House Tower - 95 x 60 x 212 mm / 3.7 x 2.4 x 8.4 in
- Cooling Tower Annex - 152 x 74 x 114 mm / 6.0 x 2.9 x 4.5 in

The four structures can be positioned in any arrangement to fit your available space.
The Bottling Plant has three freight doors with a platform on the backside.
In two of the pictures, one of three freight doors is barely visible
on the wall shown in shadow.
You have the option of a freight platform on one side of the Malt House
or a freight platform on both sides - one for rail cars and one for trucks.
You also have the option to build it with no freight doors and platforms.
Decals are included.
The Malt House and Bottling Plant each have a rooftop water tower.
The Malt House has a large one and the Bottling Plant has a smaller one.
I had two other of these kits that I opened.
In both of those opened kits, parts were included by Heljan
to make three of each size water tower - total of six.
I assume that this shrink-wrapped box also has these extra parts.
This wonderful kit can be used for many different industries.
If you already have a brewery and do not want or need another,
these structures can be used for industries other than a brewery.
I have seen the Malt House used as a very nice Power Plant.
The Malt House could be used for almost any industry -
or just as a freight-forwarding warehouse in an industrial district.
I have also seen the Malt House and Bottling Plant each used alone
as stand-alone breweries where both brewing and bottling take place.
The Bottling Plant could be used for many different industries.
Choices include a glass factory, soap factory, furniture factory, musical
instrument factory, food processing plant or a sugar and molasses plant.
The options are almost unlimited.
This kit is a favorite for kit bashers.
I have seen these kit parts used to build completely different structures.
This is a plastic KIT to build the structures shown in the pictures.
The structures have been painted or 'weathered' by Heljan for the pictures.
Any railroad cars, vehicles, cargo, figures or trees in the pictures are not
included in the kit by the manufacturer unless listed above as being included.
