Kniphofia uvaria 'Flamenco' is an award-winning variety being the 1999 All-American Selections Winner. This variety has a fast growth rate and can reach up to 2' in height with a 3' spread and should be spaced every 24-36" when planting. Red Hot Poker Plant puts out beautiful red/orange, and yellow tricolored blooms from spring until summer. These flowers are great as cut flowers and since they are tubular are great for attracting hummingbirds.

These are grown outside in the full sun, they die back in the winter to return in the spring. Although poker plants are not fussy about the type of soil in which they are planted, they do require adequate drainage and do not tolerate wet feet.Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun
