About: marandmedia

We specialise in rare, hard to find movies/TV on DVD. Marandmedia operates as a conversion service for fans of hard to find unreleased movies that have NEVER been officially released digitally (DVD/Blu ray!). We do not offer official factory pressed/sealed DVD’s; all our discs are 'made on demand' conversions from various sources such as laserdisc, VHS, fan-created edits (which differ greatly from their released theatrical versions!), or from obscure digital TV broadcasts. We do not trade in counterfeit copies of movies that are freely available on DVD/Blu ray. This does not make our listed items bootleg pirated copies so please don’t accuse us of piracy and restrict us in any way shape or form! This is how movies of this type (rare and unreleased on DVD/Blu ray!) are made available to film collectors nowadays, other than as a digital file or streamed online. More often than not our rare movies are in the public domain anyway meaning they are not protected by intellectual property laws such as copyright, trademark, or patenting laws. No rights are given or implied. All our movies cannot be obtained in your average DVD/Blu ray store on the high street. If a particular rare movie becomes available we will take the item down immediately. Please note all our DVD-r discs are Region ‘0’ and will be encoded to suit the buyers location unless otherwise stated, be it PAL (Europe/UK) or NTSC (Canada/US), although some discs are strictly one or the other (see 'item description' for details). All discs come with no cover art or a case as we just don't have the time or the means to supply this, all discs come in just in a plastic sleeve packed safely in cardboard, then shipped safely in a well protected jiffy bag.
