Its rapid growth and immense size makes it an excellent choice as a focal point in your yard or perhaps as a border tree. Beautiful in fall with its yellow to orange foliage. It is tolerant of air pollution, so this tree would even thrive on a city lot. Sycamores can be massive, growing to over 100' tall and with a crown of 70' in diameter. This spectacular trees' canopy will provide a cool spot to sit through summer days. Many people consider them self pruning as you will rarely see unsightly dead branches common to the canopies of other landscape trees.
