Up for your consideration is a very nice white Caribe China dinner plate measuring 9.50" across. It has a simple, but elegant design to it. It is marked Puerto Rico U.S.A. on the bottom. This piece would make a very nice serving piece. In 1949, the Crane China Company was established in Puerto Rico. There was some problems, so the Sterling China Company bought the company and changed the name to Caribe China Company and later back stamped their product Caribe China, Puerto Rico, USA. The company operated from 1948–1966 in Santurce, Puerto Rico.
