High quality mid 1980's Taiwanese knockoff of the Valkyrie/veritech jet from the 1983 anime series "SUPER DIMENSIONAL FORTRESS MACROSS" (Which hamony mold stole from Studio Nue/Big West to create 'Robotech' here in the United States).
I've spent MONTHS researching this little gem, and other than finding 2 others that HAD been for sale (and sold long ago) I haven't been able to find out anything more about this. Only the fact that I've seen plenty of other knockoffs from the 80's and 90's allowed me to even narrow down the country of origin and the decade it was made.
Some wear to the packaging (which is normal for something of this age), but toy itself seems to have never been played with or transformed. All joints are as tight as if it just came off the production line.
Made of metal and plastic - which you rarely if ever see any more in ANY toy or consumer item these days.
