This is a Judie at Creekside designed custom made quilt using two traditional quilt patterns. White House Steps and The Presidential Armchair.
The name of the quilt is Country Kitten Scratching Up the White House Steps.
This sweet kitty isn't for one side or the other he just loves the red white and blue and GOD Bless the USA.
Two matching Decorator Pillowcases are included with purchase.
The fabrics are 100% cotton. The batting is 50% bamboo and 50% cotton. This batting is wonderfully soft and has natural antibacterial qualities to it. Bedbugs hate it.
The backing is from two fabrics, the Country Kitten Patchwork fabric and a really soft bright red flannel. This flannel reminds me of santa's soft red suit.
Extreme caution must be used the first time washing this quilt because of the red flannel. To minimize color bleeding use a product called Color Catcher and wash in cool water with no dryer. Lay flat to dry. The seller is in no way responsible for how much shrinkage or bleeding that may occur because of washing.
The quilting is an edge to edge all over loop tee loop pattern using dark red thread on both sides.
The binding on this quilt was made using a "self binding" technique. The excess fabric from the back was folded to the front to create the binding. It was machine sewn on the front.

If the item is dirty or has been washed or has odors especially smells of cigarette/cigar smoke a 25% cleaning fee will be withheld from the payment. NO EXCHANGE.
