CorningWare 'Spice 'O Life' 1-1/2 Quart Loaf Pan Without Lid, P-4-B

Add to Cart
This lovely piece of vintage Corning Ware is a loaf pan. It's a perfect size for meatloaf, bread, banana or zucchini bread, cottage cheese loaf, etc. Please see the photos to see what a great pan this is, and to see the condition of this pan.

CorningWare is an American icon, and for good reason. Pyroceram was invented by Corning Glass Works, and was used to make the nosecones of rockets due to it's amazing ability to withstand extreme temperature changes without cracking or breaking. That same property lent itself to the making of cookware and bakeware. Early CorningWare advertising featured a photo of a piece of CorningWare frozen into a block of ice, with a blowtorch flame being applied to the exposed end, without any damage to the pan.

Because it is so pretty, as well as being temperature shock resistant, CorningWare easily moves from freezer or refrigerator to oven or stove top, to table, to refrigerator or freezer. No need to transfer your creation from the pan it was created in to a serving dish. CorningWare will look just as pretty on your table as it does in your kitchen. Any leftovers can be placed directly in your refrigerator or freezer, still in the pan in which it was prepared. Think how much dish washing you could eliminate by not using one dish to cook, another to serve, and a third to refrigerate or freeze!

CorningWare comes in a wide variety of patterns, so it is easy to find one which coordinates beautifully with almost any decor or color scheme. There is a wide variety of sizes and proportions, to cover most any cooking or baking need. Many CorningWare patterns also have a matching Corelle pattern of dishes, to give your table a fully coordinated look.
