*CONDITION: Looks good. The center degree dial turns Ok. The center dial locks stop the dial from turning and release it Ok. The flat surface was checked and the surface shows no sign of warping. There's a gouge in the insertion slot on the flat surface, looks like something impacted it. I have no idea what gets inserted into this slot on the flat surface. Looks like a piece of sheet metal gets inserted and the center knob on the rotating degree dial clamps down on it. The center clamp knob does loosen up and lock down whatever fits into the slot. Whatever fits into the slot has to be an "Exact" size before the center knob will lock onto whatever goes into the slot. This degree level was not checked for accuracy and will be sold as-is.
