A glass test tube-like bottle with screw-on cap containing over 100 American Porcupine quills. These quills have not been de-barbed, so it is advisable to wear heavy gloves and/or use tools when handling. Each quill is between 1 and 3 inches long. All have been washed thoroughly to rid them of natural oils produced by the porcupine. No animals were harmed for the purpose of obtaining these quills.
