Western Airlines asked on of their fuel suppliers, Union Oil Company of California, to develop a modern underground storage and fueling installation. Union Oil, working in conjection with Sesler and Associates, presented to Dynel the problem of delivering an automatic and semi-automatic supervisory control system.
