Original vintage architectural trade magazine ad for MISSISSIPPI WIRE GLASS COMPANY of Chicago, New York City, and St. Louis. Picture shows the F. and M. Schaefer Brewing Company's Bottling Department located at Park Ave. and 51st Street immediately after the New York Central Power House Explosion, which broke about 5000 plain glass windows. In this particular building plain glass was installed in the upper floor all of which was blown out. Note the contrast - The lower floor was properly protected by Wire Glass which remained in place. Old 191 building construction industry advertisement.
