The pack actually just holds batteries. The key feature, however, is the eye-catching, acid-green lens. They are useless for deflecting UV rays, exploring underwater, or--not so surprising--penetrating darkness. What penetrates the darkness are two small, small light bulbs on each side. The goggles, though, to their credit, make everything appear cool and eerie--including the wearer. That's fun even without real spy vision. Required: 2 "AA" batteries NOT included.
