The denim is a dark blue, and is on the heavyweight side.
It is not denim that has a light, prewashed look to it.
The appearance is more of a rigid type denim.
The vest closes with metal rivet buttons, in a brass toned color, that say Maverick on them. There is some minor discoloration on some areas of the buttons.
The vest has two front patch style pockets with M stitching on them.
The label in the vest says Maverick Automaticks, 100% cotton with sanfor-set, Made in USA.
The sherpa fake fur lining would probably be 100% polyester.
The fake fur lining is in very good condition, overall. It is not all matted down and pilled as I have sometimes seen in vintage items with this type of faux fur lining.
There is no size label in this vest.
The approximate measurement across the back of the vest, from underarm to underarm, while the vest is buttoned is approximately 20.5 inches, so this is probably a medium vest.
The mannequin the vest is on is a size small, and this vest is roomy on it.
This vest does not appear to have been worn much however there is some minor dark discoloration above the label where it appears that either the denim color or the black color from the label may have ran onto the fake fur. Or, it is possible that someone tried to write their initials on the fake fur lining with a marker, which didn't work out.
This discoloration did not come out when the vest was recently laundered.
There are no holes or stains in the fabric of this vest.
