When Applying the Soil Zinger alone, start with the lowest setting on the spreader and gradually work up until the spreader is broadcasting the powder at a moderate rate.

The Ground should never be completely white.
For optimum performance, after the Soil Zinger is applied a layer of straw or natural fiber matting such as jute or burlap can be applied over the ground. This is especially helpful when the area where Soil Zinger is activated by water, a light watering can be done after it is applied but is not necessary.
