The chain links that dangle down are probably supposed to be spiderwebs.
This is a short, choker or neck necklace.
This necklace is meant to be worn around the neck.
It would probably fit a slimmer neck best.
The choker measures approximately 1 inches wide, and 15 inches long, including the metal chain extender.
There is elastic on the back side of the choker, to make it fit snug on the neck.
The choker does not look like it has been worn.
There is a label attached to the choker, which could be cut off before wearing, as it could be uncomfortable on the neck.
The label lists a description of: spider necklace.
The label lists no brand, but has a date of 2010, and an RN number of 66360 listed, which is for Rubie's which is a company who produces a lot of nice Halloween costume items.
There is some light discoloration on the label.
The choker necklace seems to be fairly well made for a costume jewelry item.
This necklace would probably be difficult to fasten, so one would probably need the assistance of someone else to fasten it, or perhaps it could be fastened at the front and then turned around while on the neck.
The links that the hook fastens in to are on the small side, so one needs to have a steady hand to hook it in to the smallish links.
