"The Hobbit or There and Back Again" by J.R.R.Tolkien. Illustrated by the Author. Houghton Mifflin Company Boston The Riverside Press Cambridge. This has no dust jacket. It's in fairly good condition, has some soiling and fading on cover, obviously read and re-read many times but no loose pages or damage. Original owners name is beautifully written in the style Tolkien used for the maps inside front and back covers. Numerous black and white drawings by the author throughout the book, in addition to the color plate in front of book.

I usually mail things within a day or so of receiving payment. If you are a buyer from outside of the United States, send me your location for a quote.

    Payment Policy

    Pay Pal is convenient and ensures quick shipping. I will also accept USA Postal Money Orders but I cannot ship until payment has arrived and cleared which can take many days. I accept cash for in-person pick ups.

    Shipping Policy

    Items will be mailed within 3 days of payment via USPS except when major problem (blizzard, ice, flooding etc.) occurs in my area. Customs or VATS are responsibility of international buyers. Most items are insured (at my cost).

    Return/Exchange Policy

    Most items are insured, if damaged or not received contact me to arrange for refund (proof of damage is usually required by insurer). My items are vintage, 1 of a kind, returns allowed ONLY if item is significantly not as described so please read description carefully before purchase.
