I bought this pendant approximately 25 years ago, and the person whom I purchased it from said it was from the 1940's. Whether this is accurate or not, is unknown.
She did say the chip in the surface of the stone had always been present.
This stone in this pendant is a pretty medium blue color with dark contrasting matrix.
Please note that the color of the pendant is photographing greener than it actually is.

The stone has a beautiful sheen to it.
There is what looks like a crack and a chip out of the surface on the left hand side of the stone, about 2/3 of the way down.
There is a small area gone from the surface where the underneath is showing.
Whether this is a natural variance in the surface of the stone or occurred afterwards is hard to tell.

The setting is somewhat plain, but attractive.
There is a very light layer of light natural tarnish on the pendant, which looks quite attractive.
This pendant is not signed, and has no marks on it at all.
There is some dried glue residue on the back of the pendant.
The pendant measures almost 2 inches tall, including the bale, and 13/16 of an inch across at it's widest part.
