For sale is a very attractive womens Original Alphorn Trachtenmode jacket in a size 46, with great buttons and styling.
The label in the jacket says: Original Alphorn Trachtenmode.
There is a small label under that label that gives the size as 46. The 46 is visible on the back of the small label, so it is in a difficult place to photograph.
The jacket is made out of a lightweight wool.
The main color of the fabric is photographing as lighter than it actually is in some of the photos.
The color is similar to a medium heathered cranberry shade.
There is another label on a side seam, which says that the fiber content is 80 % schurwolle, and 20% polyamid, and futter is 100% acetat.
Schurwolle is virgin wool, and polyamid is a synthetic fabric. Futter means lining, and acetat translates to acetate.
There is one of the metal toned buttons sewn onto this label, as a spare button.
The two tone color scheme of the jacket is very pretty.
The collar and lapels, as well as the rims on the faux pockets, and the binding trim next to the faux antler decorations are in a gray color. The turned back cuffs are also in the same gray colored fabric.
The jacket has princess seaming, front and back. The back has a self-fabric belt, which is sewn together, and has one of the faux antler decorations sewn on it.
The jacket has long sleeves with turnback cuffs. The sleeves are puffed at the top of the shoulder, and do have shoulder pads in them. The shoulder pads do seem to be on the large side.
The jacket has a one button front closure, which is one of the metal toned buttons. The binding around this buttonhole is a dark gray color. The button looks like it is made out of a lightweight metal. It has a nice design on them, which is an acorn attached to some leaves.
There are also two of those buttons on the lapels of the color, which serve as decoration. These buttons are tacked down, or sewn onto the jacket to keep the lapels in place, however one button has come loose and needs to be sewn back down.
There are also very cute little faux animal antlers on the front of the jacket, which are also decoration. These are made out of some kind of hard plastic. They are not real horn.
The jacket has faux, or decorative pockets on the front bottom of the jacket. These are sewn shut; so do not appear to be functional pockets.
The jacket is fully lined.
I do have a co-coordinating skirt to this jacket listed separately, but as the jacket is size 46, and the skirt is a 42, they may not be able to be used by the same person.
