The bucket is stamped on the bottom CL Lane West Swanzey New Hampshire.
This is a large, heavy bucket and looks to be beautifully made.
The wood is thick and beautiful.
The bucket has been used, and has many marks and scrapes in the wood and or the finish, as can be seen in the photos.
There are wooden dividers in the inside of the bucket.
It has a swing handle.
The lid on the bucket I do not believe to be original. It appears to be a circular cut piece of wood that was used to replace the original lid.
The lid just sits on top of the bucket and doesn't firmly attach to the bucket at all. Rather, it slides around on the top of it, so isn't very secure at all.
The bucket measures approximately 18 inches tall and 14.5 inches across, as measured across the top of the bucket.
