A leather tag inside the interior, removable pouch is stamped Bally Made in Spain. The reverse side of the tag is marked 11519, Rubie/00, Genuine Leather.
There is a tiny square metal plaque attached to the left hand side of the bag, about half way down that has some minor wear to it. The tiny plaque is rimmed in a brass toned metal, which has some minor wear to it, and has a red B filling most of the square, and a white background to fill the spaces in the B.
The front of the bag has a unique, interesting design that is hard to describe. It has an unsewn area down the front that opens up into what seems to be interior pockets which are lined with Bally black signature lining. This may be only a decorative feature, as opposed to something that is intended to be functional, as there is no way to secure the pocket to keep it closed if something thin were to be stored in them, such as papers.
This bag appears to have barely been used. It is made of thick, substantial grained leather. The inside of the bag is lined in what looks like chamois leather in a bright red color. The inside red lining is visible along the outside edges, between the two black leather layers.
The approximate measurements of the bag are as follows: 10 inches tall(bag dips very, very slightly at the center front); 13 inches wide; sides measure 3 inches wide at bottom, with the gussets fully expanded, and taper up to 2.5 inches wide at the top part before narrowing towards the closure; the strap measures approximately 35 inches wide from end to end.
Although the bag appears to have barely been used, and there are no noticeable marks or wear on the outside leather of the bag, please note that the lining has picked up some slight discolorations. It is slightly darker in some areas at the top and there are a few ink marks on the lining as well as some white marks on the lining.
There is a large zippered pouch in the red chamois leather inside the bag which can be snapped out. The zipper pull on the pouch is has red plastic teeth and has a brushed brass colored metal zipper pull marked Bally. The snap hardware on the pouch is marked Fiocchi Italy. The pouch is lined with Bally black signature lining.
The shoulder strap does appear to be very slightly adjustable, as there are a few strap holes and a buckle on each side. The buckles are in a brushed brass colored metal, and are marked Bally.
The bag has a top zipper closure, with large plastic teeth. The zipper pull is leather and is marked Bally.
The bag is a double gusset style. The very bottom of the left hand side bottom corner and edge are very slightly curling up.
