This cake keeper is labeled on the side of the carriers’ top half, in small letters near the bottom, “Pentron Industries Inc., out of Cleveland, Ohio, dated 1979”. This carrier has beautiful graphics of a cake, cut pieces, a pitcher, and cake-making ingredients all around the sides. There is a brown plastic handle on the top, screwed in firmly. There are no latches on this carrier, the top just fits into the cake plate and holds it shut. It is very different from earlier carriers, while still being a Vintage item!
It measures 6" tall, 10 1/4" diameter across the top, and 11" across the bottom.
What a lovely gift item for someones’ kitchen, especially if they love Vintage or Retro 1970s things!
