All Maxim is Manufactured under strict U.S. specifications. Each surgical steel blade is made from solid A.I.S.I. 420 stainless, hollow ground and fully tempered at 1900 degrees.
Three rivets permanently lock blades to handles. Each carved handle is made from many layers of selected wood. The handles are impregnated with a special resin, heated to 280 degrees and then sealed under 120,000 lbs. of pressure per square foot for 45 minutes. The result is a truly dishwasher safe handle.

This product is guaranteed for a full lifetime to be free from defects in materials and workmanship. There is an address and instructions about returning the product.
