Fenton 6-3/4" Tall Bell
Made for 2002 ONLY
A word first on the actual type of glass this is. I am pretty convinced that this is made from EMPRESS ROSE glass. That glass was made in 2001, and this bell with a different design appears then. In 2002, the color in the POT (so to speak) was PINK CHIFFON which is a much brighter color. I do believe therefore, Fenton had extras of this bell from 2001 that were not decorated and they used that stock to fill 2002 orders. But this is just an educated guess.
Now with that piece of information out, this bell is about 6-3/4 inches tall but was sold as a 7" bell in the catalog. It is diamond optic as you might be able to tell with the pictures and the mold is a drapery and bow style. The painted design looks like a daisy and is full on the front, none on the sides, and a half design on the back. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. Stock number 9266 4S.. It is all hand decorated and signed by the artist who actually painted it: Diane Gessel.
REGULAR PRICE $49.50
