Fenton SEA GREEN 6-1/4" Tall Vase
Decorated and Designed by Martha Reynolds
Circa: Late 1990's (dated 1997)
I believe this color is sea green that was done starting 1997 and finished at the end of the decade. However, I am not 100% sure as the coloring is a brighter green than other pieces I have of that same coloring. Though as I browse through past catalogs, I don't see anything else that it could be from that time frame. It being dated by Martha as being 1997, that appears to be the only green that was in the pot at that time. So I will again assume that is the coloring.
The vase is about 9-3/4 inches tall and about 5 inches wide. The surface is not smooth totally and has a very, very light swirl in the glass. There is also places in the glass that is see-through which might explain the brighter green coloring if this was one of the first pieces that came off the line and the batch was not completely mixed when the glass maker took it from the pot. But with that being said, the effects are really very neat and you will be proud to own it.
As you can see Martha Reynolds signed this vase on the front or back which ever you prefer as the two sides are nearly identical. And, she dated it also under her name. It definitely is a sample piece as it was never in the regular line or in the QVC line either. However a vase of this mold was used for QVC in Nov. of 1997 but the design was completely different. This design might have been too elaborate for the QVC show.
There is no original box for this piece and the piece has been in our home ever since we purchased this. There are no chips, cracks or repairs, however there are a few very tiny spots in the glass that I have pointed out which are flaws in the glass. These flaws are NOT exposed and there is no bump where these spots are telling me if there is a bump, it is in the inside or really I think it is just in the glass, maybe dirt?? They almost look like water spots but I can not clean them off.
PLEASE NOTE:

We do the best we can to duplicate the actual picture to the actual piece that we are showing in this listing, however there are too many variables that we can not control. Please keep this in mind when ordering. And, I had plenty of problems to even get this to look somewhat good. This item is much better in real time rather than photographed.
