Organization community fundraiser-like recipe book cookbook with ALL recipes food nutrition specific ... THE PURPLE COW COOKBOOK ... offered by Child Nutrition Program, Inc, Charlotte, NC North Carolina compiled and edited by Pamela Wolfe, consultant. This undated (but advised 1990 by my phone call to them) recipe book measures approx 6”x 8-1/2” with 64 numbered pages plus Index, hints/tips pages, and a Substitutions and Adjustments page relative to the recipes in the cookbook. Real photo of children, uncaptioned, assumed local and relative to The Child and Adult Care Food Program, a federally funded program for Day Care Home Providers and eligible Day Care Centers ... it reimburses the facility for serving nutritious meals that meet minimum USDA requirements. Cookbook is full of typed-format recipes, and with approx 150 kid-friendly recipes and 83 unique contributors, some with multiple submissions, you KNOW there is a good variety of MANY good recipes!

Condition: Very Good, and I checked EVERY page to enter all the names! (I include ALL names in ALL fundraiser-type cookbooks because I know how frustrating it is to hope and wonder if specific contributors are included in a book, only to find out they’re not, upon receipt.) Pages and plasticized covers are clean, tight to plastic spiral binding, no writing, no tears or chips, all pages intact, no defective spirals. The only blemish, or maybe not, is a small spot that almost looks like a light printer’s ink smudge on page 23 under the Baked Macaroni and Cheese ingredients (it didn’t go through to the reverse side of page 24). Little to no storage wear to cover edges/corners. Any shadow is from copier and NOT on items. Books are NOT from smoke-free or pet-free environment. Email with questions or requests.
