Tucked inside cookbook are 3 miscellaneous recipe clippings and paper: a newspaper clipping with color illustration and recipe for Cornish Pastries Turnovers ... a mimeographed almost-page-size paper with drawing and recipe for Elephant Stew by Mary E Wharton ... and an age-toned page from McCall’s Monthly Newsletter for Women and column titled RightNow dated March 1979 with title Food and Medicines That Don’t Mix, a 2-sided article so very informative and interesting that I made a copy of it for myself! It did leave a yellowed shadow on page 16/17 where it was stored between those pages for all these past 33-years.

Condition: Good, and I checked EVERY page to enter all the names! (I include ALL names in ALL fundraiser-type cookbooks because I know how frustrating it is to hope and wonder if specific contributors are included in a book, only to find out they’re not, upon receipt.). Pages and covers are mostly clean (spot on page 69/70), tight to spiral binding, no writing, no tears or chips, all pages intact, no defective spirals. Some wear to cover edge/corners areas (see images) and a horizontal scuff mark on back cover, and a creased corner tip on page 110. Any shadow is from copier and NOT on items. Books are NOT from smoke-free or pet-free environment. Email with questions or requests. Images are part of the description; please SUPERSIZE them for clarity.

If item is insured, but was received damaged, it is imperative to keep ALL SHIPPING MATERIALS should you need to make an insurance claim. These books/items are not new unless specified new … they are retro or vintage, and some may come with wear and/or smells. I go to extremes, perhaps, detailing each item attributes and flaws, if any. And I especially include SMOKE and PET clauses in all descriptions, so please don't email me asking if it smells of smoke because you may be able to smell better than I do.
