This is a piece of sturdy Vintage Shenango Restaurant China, used from the 1920’s-1950’s. The pattern is Old Stagecoach and Red Lion Inn, and is unique and quite hard to find! It is marked on the back with the logo of a sitting person, perhaps an artist? Also states, Made In New Castle, P.A. USA, Q-12.
The pattern has red and white peonies or roses surrounding the rim of this 7" salad plate. I have included pictures taken with and without flash, but the red is really deeper than shows in the pictures, it doesn’t do it justice! There is very minimal wear of utensil scratches, possibly only from being stacked with other plates and the pattern is clean and bright. Thank you for looking at this great Vintage item!
