This box is well suited for small coops with limited space. It can be left on the ground or hung on the wall with a couple of screws. Just add some straw and it's ready to use. The overall dimensions are 15" tall X 28-3/8" wide X 12-7/8" deep with perches attached. Made of #1, 1/2" plywood, 5 ply. Perches will be made of select hardwood for longer durability. I use high quality #1, 1/2" plywood, 5 ply, Not that thin 3/8" #2, 3 ply stuff that other builders use to save money. This is a high quality, durable nest box and should last many years. These boxes have been Pre Sanded in case you want to paint them. If you live in a wet climate the box should be painted. The shipping weight is approx. 16 LBS. boxed.
