The cat was brought to America with early settlers in 1620 and this breed of domestic shorthair was recognized by the American Cat Fancier's assn. in 1966. Allowing any color pattern on a stocky body muscular cat. Suitable for children over age 6 yr. Has poly pellet filling a choking hazard.
