The service is Brand New unboxed. You will receive four 5 piece place settings for a total of 20 pieces. I did notice a few light scratches on some of the plates upon careful examination with a magnifying glass. I believe these place settings were store displays therefore unboxed. There are no chips and none of the scratches are large or deep and most folks with probably not notice them at all. Each place setting includes dinner plate, salad plate, bread & butter plate, cup & saucer. and retails for $157.00. Total value for the service for 4 is $628.00 and offered here for a fraction of that at just 134.95.
