A small but gorgeous Sai Lama Original 24 K Gold Thangka painting from Nepal. I brought it back with me from my last trip there. The detail is astonishing. Sai Lama is a monk and Master Artist who lives in a village on the outskirts of Kathmandu.
In the center of the painting lies the Ohm symbol. Ohm is thought to be the original vibratory sound of the universe. Toward the outside of the mandala there are 8 wheel symbols as well. The wheel signifies the unity of all things and is representative of Shakyamuni Buddha himself.
No noticeable flaws and the canvas is crisp, clean and new.
Size : 9" tall 9" wide including border ( 22.8 cm tall 22.8 cm wide ) 7.70" tall and 7.70 wide ( 19.5 cm tall 19.5 cm wide ) excluding border
