All PhoneNET Adapters may or may not come with a terminator. They can easily be made using a 120 Ohm resistor and an RJ-11 plug. In order to connect your PhoneNET adapters, all you need is a standard RJ-11 phone cable, but it MUST have 4 wires otherwise it will not work; many standard phone cables only use 2 wires. While AppleTalk via LocalTalk and PhoneNET works great for older Macs, by today's standards it has incredibly slow transfer rates and consumes a lot of processing power. If your Mac can support it, AppleTalk via Ethernet is your best option.
