Offered for your consideration is this beautiful M I Hummel Double #49/0 Figurine titled "To Market" sometimes called, Brother And Sister. Marked, Goebel W.Germany with the a bee in the V mark.
This mark was used by Goebel between 1972-1979. There is also a paper sticker on the end of the base that says,"To Market." M.I. Hummel is incised on top of the base near the heels.
It is in excellent condition with no crack, chips or repairs. In the photo it might appear to have a chip on the tip of her hair, but it is not it is where the paint was applied lighter when it was made. The face paint is perfect on it This figurine was kept in a curio cabinet and never exposed to dust or the elements so the sheen on it looks brand new . Measures are 5 1/4" tall and 3 3/4" across base.
