This is a beautiful full length gown in a gorgeous red velvet. It has a gently square neckline in front that dips about 5 1/2" from the shoulder seam and in back it dips 9 1/2" with a wide 6" red satin sash that ties right at the bottom of the dip and hangs 3/4 of the way down the back of the gown. It is stunning. There are short sleeves (7" from the shoulder. This gown has a high waist seam, (empire) then tapers to the waist area and then flares gently from the waist area. It zippers in the back.
The color of this gown is a deep rich true red (not burgandy) I think the back sash would look spectacular tied in a bow. I was trying to beat the light for my pictures so tied it in a large knot which looks nice but I'm sure it could look much nicer with patience and time.
Now the sizing of this gown. There are no labels at all. I suspect it was custom made based on the fact that the hem appears to have been put in by hand. I am basing my size estimate on charts I use but PLEASE read my measurements and base your buying decision on the measurements.
The measurements: Bust 34", waist 30", armhole opening 8", length from shoulder to hem 64".
This gown is in like new condition, very well made & well designed. I see no stains, no wear, it looks very lovely, simply elegant and ready for all those special Holiday events.
