I have for sale this nifty little nesting box. This unit is great for retro fitting old coops and sheds. Just cut a hole in the wall the same size as the one on the box. Mount the box over the hole with a few screws and a bead of caulking, and you’ll be able to gather your eggs from outside the coop. This would be a good shortcut for those of you who are building your own coops or cages but don’t want to bother with building the nest boxes. Each box can accommodate up to 4 hens. Just add some straw and your ready to go. The dimensions are 20-1/4" tall X 11-7/8" wide X 11-7/8" deep not counting the overhang. Made of #1, 1/2" plywood, 5 ply. With asphalt roofing. I use high quality #1, 1/2" plywood, 5 ply, Not that thin 3/8" #2, 3 ply stuff that other builders use to save money. This is a high quality, durable box and should last many years. I highly recommend this unit be painted, Painting will extend the life of the unit and is more sanitary. The approx. shipping weight is 11 LBS.
