A hand signed Tiffany & Co. porcelain (china?) floral sculpture. I cannot guarantee authenticity, other than years ago, I'd emailed a photograph to Tiffany, who did not know, said that it was probably by Tiffany Studios, and referred me to either Christies or Sotheby's, which was redundant, as my aunt, who had given me the piece over 30 years ago worked for and bought it at Sotheby's.
If interested in this item, PLEASE email as I have tons of pics that will show so many different areas and details.
The flaws are that after years of being packed, moved, hit, most of the tips and ends of the outer and higher petals have cracked off. It's still a great looking piece, as I've gone to great lengths to photograph every inch of it. The few black lines, are NOT cracks (like it matters?) but was a hair or two..I did wash it after I saw some of the photos, as I've probably cleaned it only twice since I've had it. The detailing on the flowers is absolutely incredible, as shown in some close-ups. All "brown" spots are just dust or dirty.
Above the hand painted Tiffany & Co. reads "Made in Italy" it seems, but parts are very light.
It measures about 4" high and the base is 3 1/8" in diameter. The widest part is around 5" (it probably started out as 6!)
It's a very delicate and beautiful piece...even with it's flaws.
