This is the miniature ACEO version of the larger "The Fairy Nekos of Spring" print. The ACEO prints have the story printed on the on the back: "The magical (and lucky) Fairy Maneki Nekos of Spring are busy spreading good fortune and their brand of Zen amidst the spring blossoms. Green for good health & well being, Pink for luck in love and romance, and Purple in some circles is said to evoke the inner child and bring about happiness." Neko wings are painted with iridescent glitter giving them a magical ambience! Background "blings" are hand painted as well with metallic gold and yellow acrylic paint. Colors in the actual print are brighter than they appear in the photo which doesn't do the glitter effect justice either.
The title of the piece and date it was created (May 2009) are also printed on the back. They are also hand signed on the back and on the front and hand numbered on the back. This is #5 of 24.
This ACEO (which stands for Art Cards, Editions & Originals) measures the standard 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" and is printed on Arches Natural White 90 lb. acid free watercolor paper. The ghosted watermark does not appear on the actual print.
This print will arrive at its destination in a protective plastic sleeve.
