First used late in WWII and Korea, the gunships came of age over the jungles of Vietnam. Their mission in Vietnam was to stop the movement of enemy supplies and personnel. This book has 160 photos many in full color, plus paintings, drawings and maps putting the reader alongside the officers and crews of the death dealing gunships. Also contains an actual transcript of a mission over the Ho Chi Minh Trail. CONDITION Used the book is in very good condition tight and clean. The dust jacket has a little wear and a few edge tears.
