1 1/2" FROM THE EDGE, SO THERE IS ROOM TO EXPAND A LITTLE ! MEASUREMENT ACROSS AT THE WAIST IS 16 1/2", FRONT OR BACK. THE LENGTH IS 48" FROM BACK OF NECK TO HEM, CALLED MIDI-LENGTH. THIS COAT IS IN VERY NICE CONDITION, NO RIPS OR STAINS. AS THE "VINTAGE" PICTURE ABOVE SHOWS, I WORE THIS COAT QUITE AWHILE AGO....THE BABY IS NOW 32!!
