Back stamp info: The Paden City Pottery was founded in 1907 by George Lasell in Paden City, West Virgina. In Decenber of 1923, Paden City plain white semi-porcelain dinner ware in the Ranson shape was ready for delivery. Paden City is credited with originating the underglaze decal and the caliente colored glaze. By 1949 Paden City had six tunnel kilns and personnel totaling 800. Paden City Pottery closed in the 1950's.
Condition: These are old and there is some staining, and wear to the gold. There is utensil marks on some. I did clean every piece with vinegar that helped with some stains, and inspected each piece.
