This is a nice all white large bowl with the ribbed swirl pattern, and scalloped edge. The backstamp is grey in color, with the 1U3. It is made out of ironstone, and from England.
It was made ca. 1913 + in Hanley, Staffordshire, England.
Condition: It has only a very few utensil marks that can be seen on close inspection. No cracks, chips, discoloration, or repairs.
Measurements: The saucers are 8 1/4 across x 2 5/8" high.
Actual weight before packing is 1 lb and 2.4 oz. It will ship around at 2 lbs. Contact me with your zip code for a shipping quote.
I always use a new or good box plus plenty of bubble wrap, peanuts, and 2" packing tape. In my nearly 7 years of shipping I have not had a broken piece yet. But, Most of the handling depends on the postal carrier. I place fragile labels on the box to notify the carrier of the contents.
