This is a very nice saucer made in England with a beautiful yellow rose, and buds. The scalloped edge is trimmed in gold. The backstamp is dark brown in color. It has a nice ring to it when struck with your finger.
Backstamp information: Longton, Staffordshire, England . Current ( 1917-present) ( Various names now Royal Doulton tableware Ltd.)
Condition: There is no noticeable wear to the gold trimming, and appears to have been rarely used. Just a very few light surface hairline scratches in the middle. No cracks, chips, discoloration, or repairs.

Measurements: 5 5/8" across x 15/16" high.
Actual weight before packing is 5.5 oz. It will ship at 1 lb.
I always use a new or good box plus plenty of bubble wrap, peanuts, and 2" packing tape. In my nearly 7 years of shipping I have not had a broken piece yet. But, Most of the handling depends on the postal carrier. I place fragile labels on the box to notify the carrier of the contents.
The insurance charge for this item is $ 1.70 and not included in the stated shipping quote.
