Welcome To Collectable-tyme Estate Sale
This is a very nice Cup and saucer in the " Candy Tuft" design. They have a cheerful expression of colors. Made of bone china with a nice ring like crystal glass. The floral design is what I call snowballs. They are hand painted with the dark pink dots raised, and thick. They really stand out. The cup is scalloped on the gold trimmed top edge, handle both sides, and end, scalloped wide gold foot, with a ring of gold above it. The saucer has a scalloped gold edge. They are pretty to use or display.
This is a rocking cup it does not sit level.
Backstamp information: They were made around 1939. ( Royal Albert LTD.) Longton, Staffordshire, England . Current ( 1917-present) ( Various names now Royal Doulton tableware Ltd.)
Condition: There is very minor gold wear that is not noticeable. The cup has one very small chip flake on the wide gold foot. No cracks, discoloration, scratches, or repairs.
If you have any questions please contact me, and I will try my best to answer them.
Measurements: 3 1/2 " across the top not including the handle x 2 3/4" high. Saucer is 5 1/2" across x 3/4" high.
Actual weight before packing is 3.8 oz. It will ship at 1 lb.
I always use a new or good box plus plenty of bubble wrap, peanuts, and 2" packing tape. In my nearly 7 years of shipping I have not had a broken piece yet. But, Most of the handling depends on the postal carrier. I place fragile labels on the box to notify the carrier of the contents.
The insurance charge for this item is $ 1.70 and not included in the stated shipping quote.
If insurance is not added to this order I cannot be responsible for damaged or lost items. You will recieve delivery confirmation. I use USPS for shipping and will use Parcel post for this item. This will help to keep the shipping charges down. All international customers must contact me for a shipping quote.
After an item has been paid for it will be shipped within two business days. There is a small handing fee to help pay for the packing materials and fuel to go to the post office.
I have a hundred or so of china yet to list. Stay in touch to see my unique collection. Thank you for stopping by, and have a wonderful day.
