Welcome To Collectable-tyme Estate Sales
This is an older plate made by Royal Staffordshire J & G Meakin Montpellier Dishwater Safe Ironstone from England. It has green trim around the scalloped edge, with green blocks, and dots, with rust color flowers. Looks like a quilt pattern. It is good for everyday use, or to display. It has a dark green backstamp.
It was made after 1944 in Stoke, Staffordshire, England.
Condition: It is in used condition with utensil marks mostly in the top center, and with some scratches. This can be seen on close inspection. It has crazing throughout, with a rust color spot on the back.
No chips, repairs, or cracks.
Measurements: This plate is 10" across x 1" high.
Actual weight before packing is 1 lb. and 3.7 oz. It will ship at 2 lbs.
I always use a new or good box plus plenty of bubble wrap, peanuts, and 2" packing tape. In my nearly 7 years of shipping I have not had a broken piece yet. But, Most of the handling depends on the postal carrier. I place fragile labels on the box to notify the carrier of the contents.
The insurance charge for this item is $ 1.70 and is not included in the stated shipping quote.
If insurance is not added to this order I cannot be responsible for damaged or lost items. You will recieve delivery confirmation. I use USPS for shipping and will use Parcel post for this item. This will help to keep the shipping charges down. All international customers must contact me for a shipping quote.
After an item has been paid for it will be shipped out within two business days. There is a small handing fee to help pay for the packing materials and fuel to go to the post office.
I have a hundred or so of china yet to list. Stay in touch to see my unique collection. Thank you for stopping by, and have a wonderful day.
