Welcome To Collectable-tyme Estate Sales
This is a matching set from Lancaster & Sandland LTD. They were made in Hanley, Staffordshire, England. They have a platinum leaf design on two sides, top edge, and handle of the creamer. The sugar bowl does not have a lid, and I am not sure if one was made for it. The backstamp is light green in color. A # 165 is impressed in the bottom of both. They are old, and well used. They still have many years left for everyday use, or for display.
They was made between ca. 1935-1964.
Condition: They have fine crazing throughout, with scratches, and wear to the platinum. The sugar bowl has been repaired sometime it it's life, and glued back together. It seems to be sturdy, but should be hand cleaned in order to keep it in one piece. Do Not soak in any fluid. No chips, discoloration, or cracks.
Measurements: Creamer is 4" across the top from spout to handle x 2 3/8" high at the spout. The sugar bowl is 2 1/2" across the inside top x 2 1/4" high.
Actual weight before packing is 9.5 oz. It will ship at 1.8 lbs.
I always use a new or good box plus plenty of bubble wrap, peanuts, and 2" packing tape. In my nearly 7 years of shipping I have not had a broken piece yet. But, Most of the handling depends on the postal carrier. I place fragile labels on the box to notify the carrier of the contents.
The insurance charge for this item is $ 1.70 and is not included in the stated shipping quote.
If insurance is not added to this order I cannot be responsible for damaged or lost items. You will recieve delivery confirmation. I use USPS for shipping and will use Parcel post for this item. This will help to keep the shipping charges down. All international customers must contact me for a shipping quote.
After an item has been paid for it will be shipped out within two business days. There is a small handing fee to help pay for the packing materials and fuel to go to the post office.
I have a hundred or so of china yet to list. Stay in touch to see my unique collection. Thank you for stopping by, and have a wonderful day.
