This is a very nice saucer made in England with gold bubbles from the scalloped edge flowing 1 1/4" down into the saucer. It is made of cream color Bone China, with an English Crown. There is a # 8 in gold close to the backstamp. The clear glaze is outstanding. It rings like fine crystal glass. This is a beautiful saucer ready to display, or for every day use.
It was made in Stoke, Staffordshire, England Ca. 1964-present.
Condition: It is in great condition with only very had to find gold wear that can only be seen on very close inspection. No chips, scratches, discoloration, repairs, or cracks.
Measurements: Saucer is 5 5/8" across x 15/16" high.
Actual weight before packing is 4.9 oz. It will ship at 1lb.
I always use a new or good box plus plenty of bubble wrap, peanuts, and 2" packing tape. In my nearly 7 years of shipping I have not had a broken piece yet. But, Most of the handling depends on the postal carrier. I place fragile labels on the box to notify the carrier of the contents.
The insurance charge for this item is $ 1.70 and is not included in the stated shipping quote.
