Welcome To Collectable-tyme Estate Sales
This is a very nice saucer made in England called Duchess with floral sprays of purple thistle. It is made of Bone China, with # 371. Signed in purple Highland Beauty. The saucer has the thistle flowers on two sides. There is gold trimming on nicely scalloped edge. The clear glaze is outstanding. It rings like fine crystal glass.
It was made by A.T. Finney & Sons (LTD) Longton, Staffordshire, England. 1961-present.
Condition: It is in new condition with so very little gold wear, and not noticeable. It can only be seen on very close inspection. It is nearly in mint condition. This one has a very light purple paint smudge close to the edge. It is rare to find this on one.
Measurements: Saucer is 5 1/2" across x 3/4" high.
Actual weight before packing is 4.5 oz. It will ship at 1 lb.
I always use a new or good box plus plenty of bubble wrap, peanuts, and 2" packing tape. In my nearly 7 years of shipping I have not had a broken piece yet. But, Most of the handling depends on the postal carrier. I place fragile labels on the box to notify the carrier of the contents.
The insurance charge for this item is $ 1.70 and is not included in the stated shipping quote.
If insurance is not added to this order I cannot be responsible for damaged or lost items. You will recieve delivery confirmation. I use USPS for shipping and will use Parcel post for this item. This will help to keep the shipping charges down.
After an item has been paid for it will be shipped out within two business days. There is a small handing fee to help pay for the packing materials and fuel to go to the post office.
I have a hundred or so of china yet to list. Stay in touch to see my unique collection. Thank you for stopping by, and have a wonderful day.
