Welcome To Collectable-tyme Estate Sales
This is a very nice wide, and elegant cup with an England crown from Royal Albert England. It is made of Bone China with a stamped # 4040. The Gold gilding is outstanding. It flows from the top into the inside and outside, with a design of leaves that look like ferns on a light cream color. The top of the handle, and end are also in gold, with the foot having a wide band of gold that covers the entire foot on the outside. It rings like a fine piece of crystal. It is a beauty to behold, and would be wonderful for display or use. It is scalloped near the foot to the top edge.
It was made by Thomas C. Wild & Sons ( Royal Albert LTD.) Longton, Staffordshire, England. Current 1917-present.
Condition: It is in new condition with only one small scratch on the gold foot, no chips, cracks, little gold discoloration on the foot, no repairs. The gold trimming on the top edge is in near mint condition with so very little not noticable wear.
Measurements: It is 2 5/16" high x 3 7/8" across the top not including the handle.
Actual weight before packing is 3.7 oz. It will ship at 1 lb.
I always use a new or good box plus plenty of bubble wrap, peanuts, and 2" packing tape. In my nearly 7 years of shipping I have not had a broken piece yet. But, Most of the handling depends on the postal carrier. I place fragile labels on the box to notify the carrier of the contents.
The insurance charge for this item is $ 1.70 and is not included in the stated shipping quote.
If insurance is not added to this order I cannot be responsible for damaged or lost items. You will recieve delivery confirmation. I use USPS for shipping and will use Parcel post for this item. This will help to keep the shipping charges down.
After an item has been paid for it will be shipped out within two business days. There is a small handing fee to help pay for the packing materials and fuel to go to the post office.
I have a hundred or so of china yet to list. Stay in touch to see my unique collection. Thank you for stopping by, and have a wonderful day.
