This is a very nice cup from the Misty Isle collection by Noritake. It is detergent safe, and oven proof. Ireland # 9158 Morning Melody with a blue backstamp. The floral design can be felt when you run your finger over it, and is displayed on two sides. It is very pretty with a thick handle nearly 3/4" wide.
Condition: It is in near perfect condtion without a scratch, chip, crack, discoloration, or repairs. It does have just a little wear on the bottom rim.
Measurements: The cup is 3 1/8" across the top not including the handle x 2 3/4" high.
Actual weight before packing is 6.5 oz. It will ship at 1 lb.
I always use a new or good box plus plenty of bubble wrap, peanuts, and 2" packing tape. In my nearly 7 years of shipping I have not had a broken piece yet. But, Most of the handling depends on the postal carrier. I place fragile labels on the box to notify the carrier of the contents.
The insurance charge for this item is $ 1.70 and is not included in the stated shipping quote.
